Julie Barker started Accesso-Ride two years ago when she noticed several friends who liked to social bike ride were not keen on wearing bike helmets. Julie discovered this was because they didn’t like the shape and styles of available helmets on the market. Due to safety regulations, instead of changing the helmets structure, Julie designed attractive covers for sporting helmets. That way, clients didn’t have to purchase new helmets, but could accessorise their existing helmets. Julie’s clever creations are now available at pop up shops and markets – and she has also recently launched a facebook page.

The Green Stamp program is an initiative of the Printing Industries Association of Australia (WA Region), the Cleaning Council of Western Australia and the newly named Department of Environmental Regulation. Funding is provided from the Waste Authority and the program is available to all printing, cleaning and sign making businesses.  One of the primary objectives of the program is to actively reduce the amount of waste going into landfill.

The building is used for services by the Chilean, Thai and Filipino Consul Generals. This building has a major and a minor function centre which are in constant use. The Australian Asian Association provides a range of services to their clients including Training, Legal Advice, Immigration Advice and Case Management, Welfare, Emergency Relief, Aged Care under the Community Aged Care Packages and Health and Community Care and an Ethnic Secretariat that provides amongst its many services, help to new and emerging groups in preparing their constitutions and registration. The membership and services continue to grow in geometrical proportions as evident from tonight’s function.

Jamie Vine, CEO of Liberty Executive Offices arrived from the UK in July of 2010 with his young family, and heavily pregnant wife. After a promised job unfortunately fell through, he set up his own small business. He quickly established a gap in the market by discovering some other serviced office operators were providing a sub-standard service. It took five months to secure funding, but he successfully set up his own business in 2011 and hasn’t looked back!
