    Irving Lane

    CHAIR

    Irving worked for 25 years in his family’s fashion business ‘Lanes’ and ‘Sportslane’ as a manager/buyer and subsequently general manager. The business was at one time the largest women’s fashion stores in Australia, and employed more than 100 staff. When the business which was started by Irving’s father and uncle closed in 2004, he took over managing a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. Irving has been a member of the TCFWA Committee since 2012, and is passionate about being able to assist many small fashion businesses

        Jasmyn Mumme

        VICE CHAIR

        Jasmyn is the Principal and Senior Debt Strategist for Active Debt Specialists, a debt solutions company providing debt negotiation and mediation services to small business and individuals. She has seventeen+ years of specialist experience facilitating agreements between debtors and creditors to avoid bankruptcy, keep assets and get everyone paid equitably. Real solutions. Jasmyn has also been on the National Board of Business & Professional Women Australia since 2001. Her passion is for small business owners to overcome setbacks and reach prosperity.

            Carol Wallbank

            SECRETARY

            Carol Wallbank is currently proprietor of Create Enterprises which focuses on marketing, media, and business development for clients across a range of industries. Before running her own businesses, Carol worked in various financial services roles with IAG in Sydney and BankWest in Perth. Carol attained an MBA from Curtin University of Technology and also has a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from the University of NSW and a Diploma in Financial Markets

                Shirley Lancaster

                TREASURER

                Shirley Lancaster is a registered tax agent and accountant with over 25 years’ experience. Shirley is the proprietor of Ascot Accounting and provides accounting and taxation services for small businesses and individuals through her practice. She is an inaugural member of Belmont Business and Professional Women (BPW), and had served on the board of a not for profit organisation in the health industry for nearly 10 years. She has also been a committee member on the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc. and Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of WA Inc. since 2006.Shirley has worked in industries such as retail, wholesale and insurance and completed a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University of Technology prior to working in the accounting and taxation fields.

                    Jules Lewin

                    Jules gained his legal experience practising in Johannesburg, in his native South Africa. Migrating to Perth in 2003 , Jules re-qualified as an Australian lawyer in 2004.

                            Last minute stopover decision and chance meetings with strangers are powerful catalysts in many love affairs and this one was no exception – Margaret’s spur-of the month decision to stopover in Perth (during a world trip with her family in 2001) and a chance meeting with Carol Hanlon, Managing founder of TCFWA and TCF Global, led to her enduring love affairs with Australia fashion.

                            This passion was to see Margaret relocate her business to Perth: a business that would successfully export Australian and New Zealand designers to European buyers and import European designers to the Australian markets. Margaret has been a committee member of TCFWA for many years and is passionate about mentoring up and coming designers to be market ready.

                            Margaret, whose origins were in Banking, savvy finance foresight was to pay dividends , and Europeans were to openly embrace the ‘New world’ affordable fashion they had been denied so long.

                            Margaret’s extensive knowledge of the fashion industry in buying and selling has been finely tuned over the last 25 years. She now live between Ireland and Australia and is a consultant Buying Adviser to international buying houses and department stores. Margaret also consult to Fashion Week worldwide on thier VIP guest buying lists and has been a judge for fashion  related events appearing as international guest judge on fashion television shows.

                            Margaret is Currently a board Member of Both World Fashion Week and World Fashion Organisation and travels extensively with their fashion related project.

                                Kimmaree Thompson

                                Kimmaree Thompson is a positive change and digital business consultant, she uses a strengths-based approach rooted in science of positive psychology combined with solid structured problem solving as a Certified REASON® root cause analysis lead analyst and trainer.

                                 

                                Kimmaree has a passion for creative industries and regional development and is a Board Member of the Food, Fibre & Timber Industries Training Council (WA) Inc.
